Join us on Saturday, June 13th at 9:00 am for a guided birdwatching walk and art-making session.

Meeting time and location:
Chez Nous Bakery & Coffee. Please arrive by 8:30 am if you’d like to grab a drink before we begin. The walk will start promptly at 9:00 am.

Event details:
The route is approximately a 40-minute walk from David Lam Park to Stanley Park. We’ll end our walk at the blue heron colony, where we’ll take time to reflect on our observations through drawing, sketching, and collage-making.

Included with your ticket:

  • Educational bird watching walk, guided by an oceanologist with a focus on marine birds. You’ll be introduced to local and migratory species, their behaviors, and the ecological relationships that shape our unique coastal landscape.
  • All art materials will be provided for the creative session, though you’re welcomed to bring your favorite supplies and a sketchbook.
  • Each ticket purchase enters you into a giveaway to win a sailor hat by Bohéme, for all your sunny days watching birds outside this summer!

“You can’t love what you don’t know” is a principle that reminds us that true connection and appreciation begin with understanding. With this in mind, apartamento 710 invites you to an experience designed to deepen your relationship with the natural beauty of our city through observation and knowledge.

*Spots are limited, and tickets are non-refundable.

We would like to acknowledge that this experience is taking place on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. We are grateful to live, make, and gather on their land.
